Icelandic Wartime Museum

Set in the charming seaside village of Reyðarfjörður, this interesting museum gives a glimpse of times passed when 3000 allied soldiers, ten times the local population, were stationed there in WWII and the impact it had. The museum is located in the original barracks above the town. Definitely worth a visit!
