Tour the factory of one of the few salt producers in the world that is entirely sustainable, produced with 100% geothermal energy on the shores of the Westfjörðs. The flaky salt imparts the flavor of the Nordic ocean, and for a playful twist they’ve added flavorful local ingredients: arctic thyme, smoked birch, lava – Yes, Lava! – licorice and seaweed, creating a whole new line of salts to inspire something new.
