Krambúðin in the Norwegian House

The Norwegian house was the first imported Norwegian wood-frame residence with two full-sized stores built in Iceland in 1832. Today the house has a quaint 19th century influenced shop offering beautifully crafted and carefully selected items from local designers and craftsmen as well as homemade candies for a sweet tooth. The house also serves as the regional museum showcasing period interiors and ambiance creating an opportunity to travel back in time.
