Snartarstaðir

Experience Icelandic heritage at Snartarstaðir, just south of Kópasker. Part of the Northern Þingeyjarsýsla Heritage Museum, it showcases 19th- and 20th-century life through everyday objects. Guided by local women, the museum features handcrafted embroidery, knitwear, and traditional costumes, reflecting deep community roots and the creativity of generations past.
